Iraq

Is anyone else a little surprised that it's taken so long for the press to uncover stories of abuse by US soldiers in Iraq? Is anyone else offended that US payment to the families of innocent civilians killed in Iraq by American forces is so little? ($2,500)

I sure hope this occupation ends soon. Too many lives have been lost, and I've gotten so I can hardly stand to read about it.
